Building concept:
An architecturally sophisticated building with optimal workplaces for employees was built as an expression of a positive corporate culture. The pleasant room climate is an essential part of the concept and promotes well-being and work performance. A commitment to environmental responsibilities and the requirement to save running costs were major project goals.
Energy extraction:
Geothermal energy for heating and cooling is absorbed by means of enercret absorber piles.
Energy preparation:
The energy obtained from the ground is raised to a suitable temperature by means of a heat pump. For cooling, the cool ground temperatures are used direct.
Energy utilization:
The energy is transported into the offices of the building through thermoactive concrete floor slabs (concrete core heating/cooling).
